Today, I had my 1st birthday party with nearly all of my family here for the event! My Nana Mary and Grandpa Nick came to the party, as well as my Grammie Laurie and Papa Mike; Aunt Amy, Girl-Cousin Kyleigh and Girl-Cousin Macy; Aunt Sara and my silly Boy-Cousins, Braeden, Ethan and Jackson; Aunt Abbey and Mr. Marc; and, of course, my crazy parents were here.
We ate a boat-load of lasagna, salad, and homemade breadsticks for lunch...I ate in my throne, decorated by Kyleigh and Macy.
Next on our itinerary, the opening of my presents...always a treat...and after all the holidays lately, I have gotten pretty efficient at this task!
After the gifts were duly appreciated, we moved on the performance part of the event; everyone sang really loud and crazy, which was entertaining...but then the party went downhill fast. I was trying to let my parents know that I was ready for some quiet time, but instead, they tried to stuff a huge pastry in my face! I was not happy that they got all up in my grill, so I refused to eat my cake until after I was able to retire to my room for a short nap. Anyways, I did finally enjoy the cupcake, but to throw off my parents, I ate it very daintily and prettily after half the guests had already left!! I showed them who is boss! Anyways, thank you to those who got me presents and/or came to my birthday party, I appreciate you and hope you enjoyed the party.
So, just in case you were wondering, I will officially be one year old on Wednesday, the 6th of January...
