Aunt Abbey has moved in! She is going to live with us for the foreseeable future, and I am super excited! I now have a doggy living at my house too, since Bayley, the Beagle came with her! In preparation for their move-in, Mama, Nana and Grandpa have been feverishly painting for the last week after Daddy and Papa got the floor fixed from our recent flood in the basement. Our house is a big mess, but it finally came together with the new carpet getting laid down. Aunt Abbey sure has some cool stuff to play with!
Isaiah didn't do much to help while all the work was being done (he just hung out in the laundry basket), but I assure you that I was very helpful--they wouldn't have been able to get it done without me! And let me tell you, I sure looked good while helping to pick out tile for the basement at the store in my princess/ballerina dress!
Here are a couple pictures of Aunt Abbey's new room now that the work is done! I am looking forward to all the exciting times I will be having in this room...especially early in the morning, when I will awaken Aunt Abbey and Bayley by barging into their room before it is light out to jump on their bed and sing to them!!
In other recent news, Daddy and Mama took Isaiah and I to a nifty remote-controlled vehicle day at the local historical estate. I got the chance to drive a radio-controlled boat all by myself, and of course, I excelled at it like I usually do in everything! We had a good time watching the RC planes and boats, though we apparently missed the cars and helicopters by arriving later in the day. We did get to enjoy the delightful weather though, and Mama captured my boat-driving in a little video, included for your amusement!
