We celebrated Isaiah's birthday this weekend, and all my crazy cousins were here for the party! It was a good time; my favorite part (besides the ice cream cakes) was playing dress up with my cousin Macy! We were beautiful princesses...makes me think of what a lucky boy, Z is, to have had such lovely royal girls at his party. We celebrated Papa Mike's birthday too, since he just turned 57 a few days after Z's birthday, and it also worked out that we were able to celebrate the belated birthdays of Kyleigh (7) and Macy (5) with Papa's number candles by splitting them up! Since they live so far away, we never get to spend their birthdays with them, so it was nice to spread the party around!
Isaiah was a big fan of ice cream cake--Mama wasn't such a fan of the fact that he put some all over the walls while he was enjoying his slice! That little brother of mine is trouble! It was a very fun weekend, especially the part where I got to open most of Z's presents for him since he was too little to do it himself...I wonder if he will let me do that again for him next year?!
It was quite exhausting to have so much fun...I couldn't even stay awake to finish my book as you can see from this picture Mama snuck in to get! As you can see, I was enjoying my book about Daddy being "Over There" when I happened to drift off; we were happy that he could Skype with us during part of the party. I can't wait until he comes home...in time for my next birthday!
