It started with a luau and ended with Independence day fun...we had a fun-filled week off as a family, making the most of every moment with friends, old and new! We had two parties with our local friends, one to start and one to end the week, but the rest of the days were spent with friends who live far away. I don't get to see my friends--Mara, Helena, Carter and Mackenzie--very often, but we had a great time together (and with our respective families) staying several days in a giant log cabin!
