Earlier this summer, I finally decided to put forth some interest in the world of cycling. Prior to early July, I occasionally would ride my princess bike with training wheels, but didn't really like the idea of branching out on my own without them. Around Independence Day, I was inspired by our friend Rowan, who recently became a bike rider himself...when I saw all the fun he could have, I made up my mind.
It only took a few days to master it, and now I can start and stop and turn all by myself!
Isaiah was so thrilled by my new skill that he started begging for a 2-wheeled bike of his own; he has long dominated the street on our tricycle, but for his birthday, he got (what he thinks is) the coolest Spiderman bike in the world!
For about the last month, he has been tooling around on his Spiderman bike with my princess training wheels holding him up, but this weekend, he decided to go big or go home, and now he is riding high too!
