An impromptu trip back to our old neighborhood for trick-or-treat was in store for our family this year. Miss Audrey and Mr. Gary invited us to come hang out at their house for Halloween beggar's night! It was so great to be back in our old neighborhood; I was the most excited about seeing my best friend "Girl Scout sister", Miranda! We walked around together to a bunch of houses and got loads of candy!! We were also able to see the boys who used to live just a few houses down from our old house; we were so happy and excited to see our old friends, whom we have missed a lot this summer!

We had shed our costumes by this point, but finally got to see Noah and Finn; they are super fun!!

Later, we were able carve some pumpkins back home, each of us designing our own face for Dad to help us cut out. Sammy was kissing his pumpkin for the photo below! This time of year is always kind of exciting, but the icing on the cake was getting to go back to our old community for an evening of fun. We sure miss our friends, but Mom and Dad say that we will continue to make new friends in our new town. Sometimes it is tough to make changes.
