All great things must come to an end, even epic beach vacations. We packed up this morning and have headed home from the noisy fun of Spring Break at Dolphin Watch, the rental house we got in NC. We were able to spend the week with some of our favorite people, including most of our cousins! We explored the beach, swam a ton in the heated pool, flew some kites, played lots of games and had several family movie nights. We had some nice weather after the initial rainy/gray day, though it was a little too chilly for doing much playing in the ocean. We had some beautiful sunrises to view and every night was a sleepover with my fun, crazy cousins!! Uncle Cory brought some fishing gear, but I don't think any of our fishermen were very successful. I was able to find a bunch of gorgeous shells, and Isaiah found a cool crab claw and a dried up pufferfish; we did an exciting flashlight hunt after dark on the beach and got to soak in the hot tub when our parents weren't kicking us out to hog it for themselves. Sammy became an expert pool jumper, leaping off ramrod straight to try to touch the bottom before bouncing back up and getting out to do it again.
