Well, the new year has started off kind of sad; just a few days into 2020, at the advanced age of 101, Great Grandma Bea passed on from this life after a long struggle with Alzheimer's dementia. She was the most positive and upbeat lady you could ever find. She was fun and full of energy until near the end; we will all miss her very much. In her "younger" years (as in her 70s and 80s), per mom she was famous for homemade freezer strawberry jam on top of pancakes, dancing, brownies, and any kind of party! I think I might have inherited my sweet tooth from Great Grandma!!
