What an exciting weekend! I got to spend some quality time with Grandpa and Nana this weekend, which is always an adventure, but even before that, I started out the weekend with an exciting event! Saturday morning, there was finally a welcome break in the rain! To celebrate the good weather, my favorite "very useful engine," Thomas, came to visit me. Mama and Daddy and I spent the morning surrounded by trains and conductors and music and food...and did I mention trains?
We even had the opportunity to ride on a real train car pulled by Thomas himself! It was very exciting to climb aboard our coach and find our seats! The conductor came along and punched our tickets...and before we got off, he handed me a certificate that says I am a Jr Train Engineer! I am pretty sure that Thomas had to come a long way to get here from the Island of Sodor, but I am glad he made the trip!

There were lots of things to see and do at the place where we met Thomas. We had a great time playing on bouncy toys and people-watching. We ate lunch outside and, of course, we were able to see tons and tons of trains--little ones, big ones, real ones, toy ones--I was only slightly disappointed that my favorite tram, Toby, wasn't able to come along with Thomas to visit.

I will conclude my post with a video of Mama and I rocking out to "Old MacDonald's Farm" in the tent with the live music! As you can see, I am very musically inclined with multiple instruments! Hope you had a good weekend too!
