Spring-time Celebrations

Mama has been off work this week, so things have been a little more relaxed than usual. We have been having a decent amount of fun, including getting ready for the upcoming Easter weekend. Now, I know that the real reason we celebrate Easter is because Jesus died for us on the cross and rose again, but I am also celebrating the warmer, sunnier days we have been having and the blooming of the trees and flowers. This week, I have been able to do that more than usual, with some time at the zoo, a trip to the park, and playing out in the backyard. We even had a spring party at school, complete with hunt for colored eggs.

One day, Mama and I colored eggs while Z supervised, and then I got to do some more with Nana when we had a little party at their house! With all the Easter fun, I currently have more treats than I know what to do with...actually, that isn't true, I fully know what to do with them, but Mama refuses to let me eat them all at one time!

Speaking of eating...Isaiah is getting bigger and bigger despite Mama's warnings to us not to grow. He has been trying new foods and eating "big baby" food instead of just Mama Milk. He recently got to try sitting in my old highchair, which went pretty well, until he tried to slip out of the bottom! He is getting the hang of it though, just a few days later, he was sitting in it like a champ!

I hope you are having a wonderful spring too...look out for that Easter Bunny!
