This weekend, Mama and I had a girls afternoon at the nail salon; I love getting my nails done, and this time, we both went and had our fingernails and toenails painted together! I chose a lovely shade of hot pink, while Mama chose a more demure (re: boring!) shade of purple-gray, which did, in her defense, match her dress for a special event she attended.
It was fun; there were these weird chairs that had small bath tubs at the bottom! My legs weren't quite long enough to reach, so Mama stuck her feet in there without me--I wasn't quite sure that I wanted to stick my feet in there anyways! Here we are below with the finished product!
And, up close--don't they look beautiful! I am trying to convince her that we should do this on a regular basis, but I don't think she is completely sold on the idea yet...give me a little more time, and I am sure I will help her see the light!
Of course, Z-zoh is too little to have his nails painted, so he didn't get to come! I feel sorry for him, but in order to not leave him out, I plan to paint his nails for him when he gets a little older! He admired our nails when we got home...
Above you will see our "Ellie Sandwich;" Mama wouldn't let me make a "Z Sandwich." I guess that will have to wait until he gets bigger too.
