We have waited so long...but the day has finally come! My Daddy has come home at last to save us from Mama's tyranny! It was a beautiful sunny day when we packed up the car and hurried to the welcome home ceremony. We ran to the buses as they were unloading all the soldiers and searched frantically in the crowd to find the one that belonged to us...when we found him, I ran up to Daddy and gave him a big hug! It was so nice to see him and hug him after 11 months of only seeing him on the computer!
A lot of my family came out to welcome him home with us--Grandpa and Nana, Grammie and Papa, Aunt Abbey and Uncle Cory, and Aunt Sara and her crazy kids! There was a lot of fun and excitement in the air as many families were reunited! After the ceremony, we had a big dinner back at our house and now my Daddy can tuck me into my bed at night and tell me awesome stories! Daddy, we love you!
