Can anyone say, "FAMILY ROAD TRIP?!" Here is the evidence that no one got killed or left anywhere on our week-long road trip all over the state of Michigan! We visited Great Grammie and Great Papa, took a boat ride and saw Mackinac Island, did some hiking and swimming, ate lots of yummy food, visited my distant cousins Helena and Everett, checked out a children's museum in a famous college town, and took trips to both the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron! We had great fun, though my crazy parents had us in the car too many days in a row, which Z and I didn't appreciate. We got back at them though by driving them even crazier! At least we had plenty of cargo space, now that Mama and Daddy finally broke down and got us a minivan, although Isaiah just thinks of it as echoing space and screams louder in the car now! We all made it safely home to a fantastical change in our house--when we left, it was green and when we came back it was blue! It was like magic!
