Happy Fourth of July! Today, we celebrated our independence with the annual neighborhood parade and then a potluck BBQ in our front yard with friends and family. We had a wonderful time, and we ate a ton of good food. It was kind of a rainy day, but the weather held off for the most part until the end of the party...a good time was had by all who attended! Later that night, we took in the city fireworks display with some of our closest friends! It was Isaiah's first fireworks display that he could remember; I warned him that it was going to be loud!! We are thankful for those who have given their lives or sacrificed in other ways to bring freedom to our country!

| Z didn't seem to mind the noisy fireworks as much as me! But, boy was he tired and grumpy when it was over! |
