Hiking and Halloween--Fall leaves are changing

It is a beautiful time of year; still sunny and warm on many days, but with hints of impending winter sneaking through.  We are making the most of being outside and enjoying the season.

We had our yearly church fall festival event, and of course the neighbor trick or treat night.  I have included our costume pictures like always, for your viewing enjoyment.














But, even though I LOVE candy, I think my favorite part of all was getting outside with my family and enjoying the local parks.




We have been able to hike quite a bit this fall, including a really fun day with two of my aunts who live closer and all of the associated cousins.  That was probably the noisiest hike you could imagine, but, man, did we have fun!






My family likes to visit this park--it seems like it has been our "go to" spot this fall.  Playing soccer, hiking, enjoying the sights and sounds.  We are very blessed to live in a beautiful area of the country.





Even in the middle of the city, we have nature surrounding us!
