One last camping trip--too windy for the tent!

Our weather-resistant campsite
Well, we had to cancel our Labor Day weekend camping trip due to some rain, so we rescheduled for this weekend, but lo and behold, the wind was blowing and more rain was in the forecast.  Well, we aren't crazy (ok, mom and dad are, but they aren't even 50% of our family anymore), so we switched out the tent for Grammie and Papa's trailer and we headed out into the elements, camping near the lake.  We had a good time, but I will be the first to admit that we spent a whole day hanging out at Grandpa and Nana's house because it was warm and dry there when the weather was at it's worst!

Z with his incredible fashion sense wielding a big stick, because he can.
Doesn't get much cuter than my little brother camping in the wind!

Dad can cook bacon in any element!  A hot breakfast is yummy when it is cold outside!
Apparently Mama didn't take any pictures of me on this camping trip, but here is Z with camping bed head.
Oh, wait...I found one.  Here is me doing all the hard work on our camping trip.  I am basically a child slave.
So, the weather did clear up on our last day; the clouds parted and the sun was shining over the lake--certainly made packing up a whole lot easier!  On our way home we decided to stop and check out the scenery at this nifty house below for fun.  It was beautiful--Mom and Dad can't seem to stop talking about it...I don't know what they are up to.
