Is it legal to have this much summer fun?

July went by like a flash; sometimes I wonder if I could get in trouble for having so much fun this summer.  I have spent hours swimming and searching for beach glass with my family; we have ridden bikes around and around our driveway and neighborhood; we have had company over for picnics and sleepovers; we have gone to parades; we have seen and ridden on boats; I have eaten enough ice cream and popsicles that I am surprised I haven't turned red or purple or green!  I could get used to this no school, all play schedule...in fact, I think I am!  And, we still have several weeks before we need to get back into the school year routine, so if you need me, I am outside!!

Fourth of July parade with cousins, near Grammie and Papa's house

Small town parades are the best; if you miss it the first time,
they will be turning around and coming all the way back!

Picnic at the kids' table

Checking out the zoo for another fun cousin day

We have been picking lots of black raspberries along our drive way this summer--yummy!

Tall Ships!

Hanging with Grandpa and Nana

Avery and Joey and their cousins came for a week to stay near our house!
We consider their cousins, Eli, Ezra and Naomi, to be our honorary cousins!

Happy Birthday to my Ninja Jedi brother, Z.  He turned 5 this month, and we ate a yummy cake in his honor!

Sammy driving Pap's boat while visiting Uncle Cory and Aunt Abbey

No strangers to the sunshine and water; we love being out on a boat!

Splashing and playing in big buckets of water; for the times when having a giant lake
in front of your house just isn't enough water time!

Tomato growing was successful this year; Sammy is a good picker if he doesn't eat them all!!

Train conductors with Grandpa; the boys just love Grandpa's trains!
