Not everyone has the privilege of having great relatives...I am more than blessed in this respect. Both my parents have parents who are way cooler than them, and to add to the heritage, on Mama's side, her parent's parents are still around and their awesomeness is amplified even more the older they get. I hear that on Dad's side, there used to be some awesome great grandparents too, but unfortunately, I have only ever met them in pictures and stories. Today, we were hanging out at Grammie and Papa's house, and lucky for us, Great Grandma Bea was visiting from out of state.
Can you believe that she is going to be 98 years old this year?!?!? She has super white hair and she is very nice, although I think she has so many great grandkids now that she can't keep any of us straight. Mom says she has dementia, but I think I would have a hard time remembering all our names too when we keep multiplying all the time, and I have no problems with my memory!! She is Papa's mom, and I guess it is true that no matter how old you get, you are still your mama's baby!!
